Promotional Stills

A set of 8x10 color promotional stills were released most likely in 1978 to promote the Holiday Special. They were printed on cardstock paper and featured either images taken directly from the Special, or composite promotional images. There appears to have been a total of four photos in this set.

There were also a number of black and white promotional still photos produced by CBS featuring images and blurbs about the Holiday Special. And pictured above is a promo photo of Itchy with a logo for CTV (Canadian Television Network Ltd.), indicating that the Special was probably aired in Canada as well at some point.

The four still photos above were included as part of the Holiday Special press kit (see the Press Kit section for details). It is not currently known whether they were available separately.
